Hampshire Craft Cabinetry

In Millbury, Massachusetts, Hampshire Craft Cabinetry, a new handcrafted cabinetry firm, celebrated the opening of its new manufacturing plant. Visitors from the state administration and local businesses took a tour of the recently opened production line before the event started. Vice President Charles Kokoros gave the opening comments, introducing the attendees and outlining the company’s strategic growth vision. The importance of assisting small companies and skilled crafts in the area was emphasized in speeches by several local and government authorities.

On behalf of U.S. Senator Edward J. Markey, Jesse Lederman, his regional director, gave a citation and remarks. “Although Senator Markey could not attend due to Congressional duties, he sends his sincere congratulations to Hampshire Craft Cabinetry,” Lederman noted. “This facility reflects the values of quality, innovation, and job creation that are essential to the Commonwealth’s future.”

Jack Wu, the president and founder of the company, concluded the remarks section by saying: “This facility is more than a workplace—it is a space built on craftsmanship, innovation, and opportunity,” Wu remarked. “We are proud to contribute to Millbury’s economy and the broader legacy of quality American manufacturing.”

Following the ribbon-cutting, Wah Lum Kung Fu & Tai Chi Academy performed a traditional lion dance, which represents good fortune and fresh starts.

About Hampshire Craft Cabinetry

Hampshire Craft Cabinetry began as a startup project in 2014 and has since grown into a fully functional manufacturing business. In 2017, the company opened its first showroom in Quincy, Massachusetts, and was formally registered. The business added facilities in Sharon (2020) and Rockland (2019) to its logistics network to meet the increasing demand. These activities were combined into a single site in Millbury in 2023. By 2024, Hampshire Craft had made over $25 million in infrastructure and advanced manufacturing equipment investments, leading to notable advancements in production capacity and technology.
