Mohawk’s new signature technology takes wood looks to the next level. The all new signature technology being launched in the RevWood Premier line that incorporates 64 layers of design data into each plank to achieve a wood look that is difficult to distinguish from natural wood.
High Definition Technology
Signature Technology captures natural designs with extraordinary detail. This high definition micro-data is then transferred to a laminate flooring plank. The variety and detail of these natural features are often lost in the low fidelity digital conversions that currently make up the flooring industry standard.
Up To 1,000 Colors In Every Square Inch
Signature Technology captures natural designs by scanning, cataloging and preserving the extraordinary detail and variety common to each wood species. By incorporating 64 layers of design data and 1,000 colors in every square inch into each plank, Signature Technology achieves a wood floor that is, according to Mohawk, “indistinguishable from natural hardwood”.
“We transfer 64 layers of information onto exclusive, specially crafted Signature plates that create a multidimensional beauty you can see and feel,” explained Mohawk’s David Moore, senior product director, “Then Signature’s clarity finish achieves four-times more resolution than previous methods.
Waterproof and Durable!
RevWood Premier laminate floors also feature a combination of proprietary technologies to give you 100% waterproof protection. The Uniclic ® joint system, GenuEdge® pressed bevel edge and Hydroseal perimeter coating in unison, create the RevWood Premier waterproof technology. These floors can be wet mopped and steam mopped and have All Pet Protection with a warranty covering all pets, all accidents, all the time!
