Munksjö is preparing to spotlight its expertise in decor papers and surface design at Formóbile 2026 through the presentation of its Chromatic Joy concept. The initiative places color, materials, and human experience at the center of conversations shaping the future of interior environments and laminate surface applications.

Rather than serving as a traditional product display, the company’s presence at the event has been designed to deliver an immersive and interactive experience. Architects, designers, manufacturers, and industry professionals will be invited to explore how color influences the way people perceive, experience, and connect with spaces.

One of the featured offerings is The Essentials collection. Created specifically for the Latin American market, the range includes 63 solid color options designed for decor paper applications. The collection supports high-pressure laminate (HPL), continuous pressure laminate (CPL), and low-pressure laminate (LPL) production.

To simplify the selection process, the collection is organized into two categories. The Neutrals range includes timeless shades such as white, beige, and gray. The Intense range features more vibrant colors, including green, blue, red, and orange tones.

The collection was developed to provide designers and manufacturers with a practical reference tool while addressing the specific preferences of the Latin American interior design market.

Visitors will also have the opportunity to explore DENSITY, Munksjö’s 2026 Solid Color Decor Paper Trend Collection. The range features 14 carefully selected shades divided into two complementary groups known as HIGH DENSITY and LOW DENSITY.

HIGH DENSITY introduces deeper colors inspired by nature. These shades are intended to create interiors that feel grounded, comfortable, and stable. Natural influences continue to play an important role in contemporary design.

As the first and only certified license holder within the decor paper industry, Munksjö brings Le Corbusier’s renowned Architectural Polychromy color system to laminate surfaces. Formóbile 2026 also represents a significant milestone for Munksjö’s operations in Brazil. The event marks the company’s first participation since the modernization of the PM7 production line at its Caieiras facility.
