 Wednesday, November 30, 2022

Getting into limited clearance areas just got easier with the new WORX Nitro 20V Compact Drill –Driver. This compact drill’s headstock is only 6 in. in length and when compared to WORX full-size brushless drill-driver it’s 17 percent shorter.

At 500 in./lbs. of torque, it’s a compact powerhouse. Add a high-efficiency brushless motor with electronically controlled power distribution and it increases battery run time over standard brushed motors. In fact, its brushless motor is 25 percent more power, provides 50 percent longer runtime and adds 10 times longer life, than standard brushed motors.

The WORX Nitro 20V Compact Drill –Driver is outfitted with the latest technology in WORX 20V 2.0Ah batteries. This latest battery (WA3669) is a slimmer version than its predecessors. Each cell is wrapped in a thermoplastic material to keep cells cooler longer to extend run time. The battery’s cells have 360 º protections against vibration and impact. Plus, the battery is water resistant and features a gauge to monitor its charge level. The new WORX 20V 2.0Ah battery is compatible with up to 100 WORX 20V, 40V and 80V DIY and lawn and garden tools, and lifestyle products for cost savings and convenience.

The lightweight drill-driver weighs only 3 lbs. with the 20V 2.0Ah battery and is highly maneuverable; able to get into hard-to-reach areas. It’s an asset to tradesmen like electricians, carpenters, HVAC specialists, locksmiths and others looking for a compact, powerful drill to their tool bucket.

For homeowners upgrading or replacing a drill, it’s loaded with the most desirable features. It’s the go-to tool for drilling holes and driving screws. It can handle any number of building, assembly and repair projects such as installing cabinets and cabinet hardware, hanging drywall, replacing stairs and railings, draperies and blinds, drilling holes for drywall anchors, bathroom hardware, replacing door sets and hinges, and assembling furniture to name a few.

The drill’s ratcheting, all-metal, ½ in. chuck provides durability and superior bit retention without slippage. Its ratcheting capability enables the user to hand-tighten the bit, allowing fast bit changes.

The brushless drill-driver is equipped with all-metal gears for dependable performance. Its variable, two-speed gearbox delivers no-load speeds of 0-500 and 0-2100 rpm. Its clutch provides 18+1 positions to adjust torque settings. The tool’s drilling capacity is 1- ½ in. in wood and 1/2 in. in steel.

It has a rubber overmold grip with a micro-texture GripZone for optimum comfort and control. A bright LED light illuminates the work area and continues to shine for 20 seconds once the trigger is released

Included with the brushless drill-driver are 2, 20V Power Share 2.0Ah battery; 1-hr. charger; belt clip; double-ended driver bit and bit holder; and carrying bag. It is covered by the WORX three-year limited warranty.
