Nordic Structures, headquartered in Montreal, Quebec, has joined the American Wood Council (AWC).
The company is dedicated to engineered wood products for the construction industry, with over 50 years of experience in the industry. Nordic Strutures manufactures cross-laminated timber (CLT), glued-laminated timber (glulam) and I-joists.
”Mass timber technologies have sparked considerable innovation in building construction,” AWC President and CEO Robert Glowinski said.
“All wood product manufacturers make products from a renewable resource that absorbs and sequesters carbon. The products Nordic Structures manufacture are part of a movement to transform our skylines, as many cities in Europe and Canada are already doing and are now planned for the U.S. We are excited to have Nordic Structures join over 50 other wood products companies supporting AWC’s efforts on behalf of wood products manufacturers.” He concluded.
