The U.S. Forest Service has granted a $288,860 Federal Wood Innovation Grant to NWH (Northwest Hardwoods), a prominent hardwood lumber company. NWH will be able to increase production capacity and promote sustainable forest management in the Allegheny National Forest by installing modern sawmill processing equipment at its site in Marienville, Pennsylvania, thanks to this grant.
