Roseburg Forest Products welcomes Cory Boydston, the former Chief Financial Officer of Ashton Woods Homes, to the company’s Board of Directors. She takes over from outgoing board member Judith Johansen, who left the Roseburg board in 2022 after serving on it for many years with dedication.
“Cory brings deep experience and insight from decades spent as an executive on the financial side of the public and private homebuilding business, which represents a significant segment of Roseburg’s customer base,” Roseburg owner and Board Chairman Allyn Ford said. “Her skillset and knowledge will complement our already-robust board of directors, and we look forward to her valuable contributions.”
At Ashton Woods, one of the biggest private homebuilders in the country, Ms. Boydston just retired after serving as CFO for 13 years. At Starwood Land Ventures, LLC, a real estate investment company that specializes in residential land acquisition, development, and financing, she previously held the positions of Senior Vice President, CFO, and Partner. She worked with Beazer Homes USA as Senior Vice President, Finance and Treasury from 1998 to 2008. She has previously held a number of executive positions, including CFO and Corporate Controller, with Lennar Corporation.
She retired years ago, but has continued to be involved in the housing industry. She chairs the board of directors, nominating and corporate governance committee, and audit and environmental, social, and governance committees for Builders FirstSource and The New Home Company. She is the co-founder of Women’s Housing Leadership Group, and is on the Georgia Advisory Board and chairs the Philanthropy and Engagement Committee for the Trust for Public Land.
Ms. Boydston joins Board Chairman Allyn Ford and board members Eric Ford, Anurag Gupta, Jim James, Grady Mulbery, Ronald Parker, and Lynn Wilson.
