Roseburg’s board of directors unanimously elected Chief Operating Officer Stuart Gray as the next President and Chief Executive Officer. He will be taking charge of the office from October 1, 2023. The company has also announced that Grady Mulbery the presiding President and CEO will soon retire, leaving the office to the successor.
Mulbery will remain on Roseburg’s board of directors through the end of 2023 and serve as an executive advisor through 2024. He has been handling various senior roles during his 12 years of service. Mulbery was the vice president of composites and then he became the vice president of operations before becoming the president and CEO. As the CEO of the company Mulbery accelerated exceptional growth for Roseburg. He also led the company’s entry into medium-density fiberboard manufacturing. He also oversaw the construction of new engineered wood product and lumber manufacturing facilities in North and South Carolina. Pointing out his excellence Roseburg’s owner and chairman of the board Allyn Ford also said, “During Grady’s tenure, Roseburg has grown considerably and established a stronger and more diversified portfolio in the timber and wood products industry”.
The company is also keeping up its faith on Stuart Gray who joined Rosenburg in 2017 as the senior vice president and general counsel. Gray was also appointed chief operating officer in 2022, when he undertook the responsibility for the company’s manufacturing business. While commenting about this transition Ford has concluded, “At the conclusion of a multi-year development and succession process, we are confident in Stuart’s leadership, commitment to our culture and team members, and demonstrated ability to drive continued growth.”
