Roseburg’s new facility processes its first logs

Roseburg further strengthens its growth with the continuous construction at its newest facility, Roanoke Valley Lumber (RVL), in Weldon, NC. The construction continues at a rapid pace and this state-of-the-art lumber mill is poised to produce high-quality lumber for North America. It uses the resources from Roseburg’s own forests in Virginia and North Carolina.

Recently, the first truckloads of logs made their way to the RVL facility for processing. The The team is hard at work testing and refining to prepare for full-scale lumber production. The compaany expects that the evevrything will be up and running in the first quarter of 2024.

Roseburg is one of the well known privately owned timber and wood products company based in the United States. The company is one of North America’s leading producers of medium density fiberboard. Roseburg also manufactures lumber, LVL, I‐joists, and softwood and hardwood plywood. It is heavily invested in the composites industry, manufacturing particleboard and MDF at plants across North America. Beside the improving its productive line Roanoke Valley Lumber facility is also about to open career opportunities for many.
