Under the theme “The Open Library, Schattdecor,” the German surface specialist showcased newly developed decors tailored specifically for the Latin American market with an innovative stand concept at Formóbile in Brazil from July 2 to 5, 2024.
The creative trade fair concept featured the presentation of these new decors within the context of their intriguing background stories, styled as a “library.” This allowed customers and visitors to immerse themselves in the history of the designs’ creation, gaining valuable insights and understanding of their development process.
“The Open Library, Schattdecor” was a “decor library” in which visitors could not only discover new decors, but also learn their stories.
Eight new designs were introduced to the market, each prominently presented and displayed on a large scale, with detailed stories behind each decor. On each “shelf” visitors could see mood boards for the corresponding new development, telling the story of the production process and learning more about the inspirations behind it. The newly showcased decorative items were developed using natural veneers that were meticulously selected to align with the current market demands in Latin America. The aim is to enhance sales and success potential for customers, offering them optimal support and guidance.
In addition, the designers and stand developers also took up the trend concept “Free Space”, which was shown for the first time at Interzum 2019. The motto: “Now everything is possible” was also reflected in the trade fair stand. The “decor library” was on the one hand symbolic of thinking about things in a new and different way, and on the other hand for the countless possibilities for telling stories and developing decors, similar to the books in a library.
The aim was to provide an innovative and interesting platform for customers, partners and visitors to exchange information and present targeted products. By participating in Formóbile 2024, Schattdecor once again underlined the quality of its products, its design expertise, its commitment to its high-quality products as well as its design competence and expertise tailored to customers and regional markets.
