Marrakesh Walnut is a recent development from Schattdecor that was shown last month at IWF in Atlanta. It was presented in a warm, medium brown color that we call “Buckwheat” and is one of the colors that is part of Schattdecor Designer, Mark Smith’s, latest color collection – The Raw Essentials. This walnut in the Buckwheat color was the most popular décor in the presentation at IWF.
Raw Essentials Color: Buckwheat
Decor Info: Straight grain sections, areas of elongated figuring, and small knots characterize this modern walnut decor. The slight irregularities in the grain, as well as the fine cracks and subtle sapwood streaks, make this finely-pored material very interesting in effect. The Buckwheat color on the Marrakesh Walnut gives it a look that would fit right into the West Elm catalog. This decor would be perfect in Home Furniture, Retail and Hospitality applications.
The Raw Essentials
Schattdecor Designer, Mark Smith, introduced a brand new palette of colors at IWF in Atlanta last month. Colors found in nature provide a simple aesthetic that seem to be a fundamental part of design these days. Mark’s new color palette takes inspiration from the inherent colors of nature, The Raw Essentials – stones, grains, succulents, eggs, etc.
