Shark RS1000 Pro debuted in IWF this year. With the use of Next Wave CNC’s most recent technology, almost any router table can be converted into a full-fledged Two Axis CNC, providing with unequaled accuracy by enabling user to move the fence or bit by as little as one thousandth of an inch. The patented technology provides a full twelve-inch fence travel for larger projects and three and a half inches of available router lift, all while enabling the fence and lift to move accurately in direct relationship to the bit. This is all done under the control of an onboard processor with a full color LCD touch screen pendant.
More than a dozen conventional router and speciality joinery capabilities, including Box Joints, Dovetail, Dado, Lock Miter, and others, are preloaded into the Shark RS1000 Pro software, which accepts measurements in standard, metric, decimal, or fractional units. With the Shark RS1000 Pro, one can make precision joints and do exact routing tasks like never before. It has interchangeable inserts for larger bits and fits any typical three-and-a-half-inch router motor. Additionally, it features a built-in 2 14″ dust port for collecting dust.
