ShopBot to introduce Desktop MAX at AWFS 2019

 Saturday, June 29, 2019

CNC routers manufacturer –designer ShopBot Tools plans to demonstrate the art of achieving perfect cut at the AWFS fair booth between July 17-20 in Las Vegas. CNC technology in woodworking, ShopBot will demonstrate the cutting of their design, live at the event.

“Our tools enable tremendous efficiencies for manufacturers, and really the best way to understand the power and precision of CNC technology is to see it in action,” said Ryan Patterson, ShopBot engineer. “That’s why we’re providing this opportunity for interested professionals.”

Patterson requests show attendees to send him information about their product and production needs, and include a design, that ShopBot will cut on either the ShopBot PRSalpha 96 x 48, with automatic tool changer, or the ShopBot Desktop MAX ATC.

The design can be anything from a pencil sketch to a CAD drawing file. Manufacturers using wood or other materials are encouraged to get in touch with the ShopBot team to discuss their production needs.

ShopBot  Desktop MAX-

With engraving level precision, as well as the capability of machining in a wide variety of materials, the ShopBot MAX offers the power and accuracy of our ShopBot Desktop—in a larger format. Deck options include, an aluminum tool deck or a Universal Vacuum hold down deck.

The ShopBot Desktop MAX offers the same power and impressive precision of the ShopBot Desktop on a work bed twice the size, 36″ x 24″. The entire unit conveniently uses standard household 120v electrical power. The Desktop MAX is great for an endless variety of cutting, drilling, and carving operations on a variety of materials including: wood, MDF, plastics, foams, vinyl, and aluminum. It’s great for rapid prototyping, and taking your projects all the way to finished products.
