Sunds Fibertech has announced the appointment of John Bergström as Sales and Operations Manager for North America, effective 1 January 2027.
John Bergström will be based at Sunds Fibertech’s newly established office in Charlotte, where he will oversee sales and operations across the region. In this role, he will collaborate closely with customers, partners, and global teams to strengthen the company’s presence and enhance its support offering in North America.

The establishment of a local North American office marks an important milestone for Sunds Fibertech. A stronger regional presence will improve accessibility, shorten response times, and enable closer, more efficient collaboration with customers and partners across the region.
“North America has long been a key market for Sunds Fibertech, and over the years we have delivered several projects, including major projects for Multi Opening Presses and Continues press lines” says Kenth Eklund, President Sales. “By establishing a local presence, we are taking the next step in supporting our expanding product portfolio with strong, locally based customer support.” Kenth added further.
John Bergström has held several positions within Sunds Fibertech, including roles in project management and as engineering team leader at the company’s head office in Sweden. He has also spent four years living and studying in the United States, is fluent in English, and has a strong understanding of North American culture.
