Suzano, the Brazilian pulp and paper company recently announces its partnership with Coupa Software for the development and implementation of a digital tool in Suzano’s supply area and improve their bioproduct development from the eucalyptus cultivation. SupriConecta, a project named by Suzano, is a platform that will unify the company’s entire purchasing chain in a process that will cover everything from purchase requisition to the final order.
SupriConecta will enable Suzano to achieve better results in the Supply Chain by ensuring traceability and increased competitiveness, compliance, efficiency, and process agility, in order to offer an outstanding service to buyers, requesters, and suppliers. What makes it possible is that the tools automatically handle the entire process of receiving demands and also the negotiations, operational contracts management, order issuance and follow-up, supplier management, among other.
“Suzano’s Supply Area is undergoing a digital transformation process, focused on improving the purchasing processes of its requesters, suppliers, and buyers. As one of the partners that help us fulfill our journey, we contracted Coupa’s fully integrated and intuitive platform to help us achieve the results we envisioned, optimizing and unifying our processes, providing time and cost savings, as well as greater visibility and efficiency across the entire Supply Chain,” says Wellington Giacomin, Suzano’s Supply & Logistics Director. The company will use Coupa’s BSM – Business Expense Management – solution as of 2022.
