TimberBLDR is proud to announce the appointment of Simon Siegert as Director of Operations, further bolstering the company’s leadership as it continues to expand its footprint across North America’s growing mass timber market. With over two decades of experience spanning architecture, design, and mass timber manufacturing, Simon brings a wealth of expertise and insight that will be pivotal as the company drives its mission to deliver innovative, sustainable construction solutions.
Simon Siegert comes to TimberBLDR with a remarkable background in the mass timber sector, most recently serving as Business Development and Technical Sales Lead at Binderholz Mass Timber. In this role, he played an instrumental part in advancing the use of cross-laminated timber (CLT) and other innovative wood-based building systems throughout North America. His deep understanding of the timber industry, along with his experience in business development and technical sales, positions him as a key asset to TimberBLDR as the company looks to strengthen its position as a leader in mass timber integration.
Before his tenure at Binderholz, Simon held senior roles at Smartlam North America and International Beams, where he led design consulting, construction planning, and manufacturing coordination for large-scale timber projects. Simon’s early career in architecture, where he worked as a project manager and studio director, provided him with a holistic understanding of how design, manufacturing, and construction intersect to create beautiful and functional mass timber structures.
“Simon’s hands-on experience across every stage of the timber project lifecycle makes him an incredible addition to our team,” said Trent Debth, Vice President of Operations at TimberBLDR. “He knows what it takes to bring complex timber systems to life—from early design through delivery—and his collaborative approach perfectly aligns with our mission to make mass timber simple, predictable, and successful.”
Simon’s expertise will be integral as TimberBLDR continues to grow and refine its integrated design-build approach for mass timber projects. By aligning the right expertise early on in the process, TimberBLDR ensures a seamless project delivery that reduces risks, optimises coordination, and ensures predictable results for clients. Simon joins a growing leadership team at TimberBLDR, including Trent Debth and Vittorio Salvadori, further solidifying the company’s capabilities to deliver high-quality timber solutions across North America.
TimberBLDR’s expansion into North America’s mass timber market is backed by a solid network of industry partnerships. Simon’s international background and extensive industry connections will be key as the company bridges North American expertise with advanced timber ecosystems worldwide. His leadership is expected to play a vital role in extending TimberBLDR’s reach to global markets and driving partnerships that advance sustainable construction.
“I’m excited to join TimberBLDR at such a pivotal time for the industry,” said Simon Siegert. “This team is pushing boundaries in how mass timber is delivered, and I look forward to continuing to advance sustainable construction and design across North America and beyond.”
Simon holds a Bachelor of Architecture from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette, is a LEED Accredited Professional, and has frequently participated as a speaker and contributor to technical seminars focused on advancing the standards for tall wood and mass timber construction.
TimberBLDR is focused on changing how the world builds with wood. As a mass timber integrator partner, the company works directly with owners, general contractors, architects, engineers, manufacturers, and subcontractors to ensure that each mass timber or hybrid project is delivered with precision and confidence. From design coordination and manufacturing logistics to field installation, TimberBLDR manages the full lifecycle of a mass timber project, ensuring an integrated approach that streamlines the process and optimises outcomes.
At TimberBLDR, leadership goes beyond strategy—integration is key. The company’s collaborative model ensures that all project decisions are informed by a multidisciplinary team of experts, ensuring smooth timelines, high efficiency, and excellent project outcomes. The company’s commitment to precision, speed, and sustainability drives its mission to advance the adoption of mass timber across North America.
TimberBLDR’s collaborative approach includes assembling the right team for each project based on its scale, complexity, and vision. This ensures that each project benefits from a tailor-made solution that aligns with its specific requirements, enhancing the coordination between teams and ensuring a more predictable and successful project delivery.
“At TimberBLDR, every successful project begins with the right team—and the right approach,” said Trent Debth. “Our leadership provides the foundation, but our true value lies in how we integrate expertise across design, engineering, manufacturing, and construction. By aligning these disciplines early, we create a seamless process that minimizes risk, improves coordination, and delivers greater project certainty.”
With Simon Siegert’s appointment as Director of Operations, TimberBLDR is better equipped than ever to lead the mass timber industry in North America and beyond. As the company continues to expand its partnerships and deliver innovative solutions for sustainable building, TimberBLDR is poised to play a key role in the ongoing evolution of mass timber construction. With Simon Siegert on board, the company’s future in advancing sustainable, efficient, and collaborative building systems looks brighter than ever.
