Timberflex panels can bend to a 5″ radius and are perfectly flat without dips, valleys, and hard spots that are often found in bendable plywood.
Timberflex Premium is dimensionally sized to have the same thickness throughout to assure excellent seam hiding characteristics. Timberflex Premium performs extremely well in traditional custom fabrication by forming the panel to the desired shape and then painting or laminating with the desired face material. This simple method allows Timberflex Premium to conform to one’s custom shape by the use of horizontal shaping ribs. The face of the product accepts contact adhesive and allows users to create concave and convex radiuses with almost no waste while the core offers a strong stable substrate to staple and glue to a substructure pr shaping ribs. It is designed so that even a beginner can easily make curved components.
Timberflex Premium provides a higher quality end product and offers a multitude of advantages over conventional bending methods. It is available in 4’x8′ and 8’x4′ panel sizes and comes in 1/2″, 5/8″ and 3/4″ thicknesses.
