Timberlab Holdings, Inc., parent company of the leading provider of mass timber systems, Timberlab, Inc., has chosen Millersburg, Oregon, as the site for its groundbreaking cross-laminated timber (CLT) manufacturing facility. The new state-of-the-art facility represents a bold leap forward for sustainable construction and the forest products industry in the region.
Located near NE Conser Road and the Portland and Western Railroad (PNWR), with easy access to the I-5 corridor, the site is logistically ideal for Timberlab’s ambitious plans. The proximity to transportation networks will streamline material distribution, while local resources—such as a skilled workforce, and partnerships with Oregon State University and the University of Oregon—make the site even more strategic. Timberlab also plans to collaborate closely with local forestry growers, harvesters, and mills, creating a mutually beneficial relationship with the community.
Once operational, the facility will produce up to 100,000 cubic meters of CLT annually, positioning Timberlab as one of the largest CLT manufacturers in the country. Equipped with cutting-edge automation and sustainable production methods, the plant is expected to create 100 new living-wage manufacturing jobs, offering a significant economic boost to the area.
