Unilin and partners showcased their latest innovations in digital printing and texturing for decorative panels at The International Surface Event, in Las Vegas. Participants got a chance to explore the future of digital printing and texturing for decorative panels that offers enhanced freedom in operation.
Unilin already announced its partnership with Barberan and Zeetree for high-performance digital texturing solutions in 2021. Through the most recent agreements, Unilin is now able to offer expanded patent protection that includes not only the main Unilin patents in the area of digital structuring, but also additional relevant patents from Barberan, Hymmen, Zeetree, Classen, Kronospan and i4F.
The agreement also puts an end to the legal battles between different technology providers and offers enhanced legal security to anyone desiring to step into digital printing and texturing of decorative panels.

Jasmine Geerinckx, the director of business development at Unilin Technologies, had previously mentioned how the company was delighted to collaborate with Barberan, a pioneer in cutting-edge industrial solutions for surface finishing and specialised single-pass printing and texturing lines for the manufacture of decorative rigid board. She continued how it was also encouraging to see that their successful adoption of Zeetree’s texturing technologies further strengthens the alliance with Barberan, and Unilin looks forward to embracing new businesses with pertinent IP and technology into their cooperative partnership model.
