USNR experiences high demand for Multi-Point Diverter Systems

 Wednesday, June 9, 2021

USNR is pleased to announce that it has received orders for Multiple-Point Diverter Systems (MPDS) serial numbers 24, 25 and 26. These systems are currently in manufacture, and are scheduled to be installed during Q3 and Q4 of 2021. Two of these systems, sold to Scotch Plywood and Hunt Forest products, will add to the 12 systems currently operating in the US Southeast region. A third system will be installed in British Columbia.

Approximately 1/3 of all high-performance softwood lathe lines in North America are now equipped with USNR’s MPDS spike belt diverter systems.

The MPDS improves:

1) Veneer recovery

2) Veneer production

3) Dramatically lowers labor costs

4) Significantly reduces veneer waste

5) Provides means to effectively stack random veneers
