Vanguard debuts new printers and partnering tech

 Friday, April 21, 2023

Four new printers as well as accompanying software technology have been introduced this spring by Vanguard Digital Printing Systems, a Durst Group Company who exhibited at IWF 2022.

Vanguard, the digital printing systems company headquartered in Lawrenceville, GA, is introducing new flatbed, roll-to-roll and hybrid printers, as well as partnering technology with its Colex Sharpcut and Durst Software Solutions.

Jim Peterson, Vanguard chief operating officer in announcing the new introductions, said “Vanguard truly has a solution to meet any print service provider’s needs. We take ‘Growing Your Business Together’ very seriously, and are excited to show everyone how we plan to do that.”

In flatbeds, Vanguard will feature their VK300D-HS and VR6D-HS UV-LED printers. The VK300D-HS offers increased throughput with a maximum printing area up to 62” x 125” and print speeds up to 3,400 square feet/hour while the VR6D-HS was made for production with a printing area up to 50″ x 99″ and print speeds up to 1,500 square feet/hour.

The VKR3200-HS is a 126” super-wide roll-to-roll UV-LED printer capable of producing nearly 3,000 square feet/hour while the hybrid VKH900-HS combines the VK300D-HS flatbed printer with the capabilities of the VKR3200-HS roll-to-roll printer, maximizing the key features of each platform to create “astonishing” speed and clarity.

The printers coordinate with the Colex Sharpcut SXC1732, as well as three of the Durst Software Solutions: Smartshop, Workflow and Lift ERP.
