The Wood Component Manufacturers Association (WCMA) held its annual Plant Tour & Networking conference in Williamsport, Pennsylvania, where it welcomed new leadership. Matt Yest of Kendrick Forest Products moves from director to vice president, and Jeremy McClain of Osborne Wood Products has assumed the position of president.
Outgoing Directors Matt Nicoson (American Millwork) and Yest, who has assumed the position of vice president, will be replaced by newly elected Directors Christian Atherholt (Lewis Lumber Products) and Mike Mooney (AHC Hardwood Group). The new Tech Partner Ex-Officio, Tony Sutton (Mereen-Johnson), who will take the place of departing Christian Smedberg (Weinig Holz-Her), and Joe Hanson (Elipticon Wood Products), are joining the board of directors. The Treasurer position has been taken over by Mark Elliot. Amy Snell, the executive director, was excited about the new leadership group and what they would bring to the company. For their commitment and service to the WCMA Board, the WCMA also thanks outgoing WCMA President Phil Menzner (Menzner Hardwoods), outgoing Past President Frank Fitts (Fitts Industries), Director Matt Nicoson, and Tech Partner Ex-Officio Christian Smedberg.
