Woodworking Manufacturing Month 2025 backs Tunnel to Towers Foundation

 Tuesday, August 19, 2025

woodworking manufacturing month

North America’s largest woodworking industry event, Woodworking Manufacturing Month (WWMM), will this year support a cause close to many hearts. The Tunnel to Towers Foundation, known for providing mortgage‑free and smart homes to catastrophically injured U.S. veterans and first responders, is the national beneficiary for WWMM 2025.

What this partnership means

Each October, WWMM by the International Woodworking Fair (IWF) spotlights innovation in wood products, machinery, design, and technology. In 2025, it will also spotlight giving back. The theme “Woodworking at work for all” captures both the inclusive spirit of the industry and the Tunnel to Towers Foundation’s mission—to ensure those who sacrificed for others always have a place to call home.

For manufacturers, participation in WWMM 2025 brings exclusive visibility—turn‑key marketing tools, digital ad placements on IWF’s homepage, inclusion in attendee emails, social media push, and designation as a “Proud Supporter” of Tunnel to Towers. IWF makes these tools available through both their Exhibitor Resource Center and external sign‑up options. Costs range from about $400 for IWF‑contracted exhibitors to $500 for companies outside that circle.

Why Tunnel to Towers matters to wood manufacturing

The Tunnel to Towers Foundation homes its mission in building mortgage‑free homes—smart homes with accessible features—for veterans and first responders facing life‑altering injuries, as well as support for Gold Star and fallen‑responder families. The foundation has delivered hundreds of homes across the U.S., and is expanding its reach to end veteran homelessness.

By aligning WWMM with this mission, woodworking manufacturers not only show off their latest designs and technology, but also stand for something deeper: supporting heroes with tools, timber, and trade.

How to join WWMM 2025

A tradition of industry and heart

WWMM has teamed with Tunnel to Towers before—back in 2023, this was the first time IWF included the foundation as a WWMM partner. That year’s campaign featured a homepage takeover and widespread industry support. For 2025, it’s more of the same—but bigger and with more meaning.

What’s at stake

Wrap-up
Woodworking Manufacturing Month 2025 isn’t just about machinery and materials. It’s about community, innovation, and standing behind those who served us. With the Tunnel to Towers Foundation as its national beneficiary, this October’s WWMM invites the industry to do good—one home at a time.
