Nitro 20V Paint Sprayer with Brushless Motor that provides the power, portability and run-time to tackle any number of small to medium-size painting projects in and around the home. The versatile paint sprayer combines a high-efficiency, brushless motor with a 20V 4.0Ah PRO MAX Lithium battery, along with other user-friendly features, such as adjustable speed and flow rates, multiple nozzle choices and a large capacity container.
This new cordless paint sprayer spreads paint, stains or clear finishes much faster than a brush or roller, saving time and energy. It also applies a smooth finish without leaving drip marks to uneven surfaces, such as shutters or decorative trim. Plus, there’s no cumbersome power cord or air hose in tow. It’s ideal for painting interior walls, ceilings, cabinets, doors, shelving, fences, sheds, picnic tables, mail boxes and more.
The power source behind the cordless paint sprayer is a Nitro brushless motor, which runs 50 percent longer, provides 25 percent more power and is maintenance-free, compared to traditional brushed motors. This electronically controlled, brushless motor runs cooler with less friction and heat buildup than conventional motors with brushes, resulting in smooth, reliable operation and extended tool life.
Backing up the paint sprayer’s high-tech, brushless motor is a 20V 4.0Ah PRO MAX lithium battery with charge level indicator. The PRO intelligent battery management system optimizes individual lithium-ion cells to boost power, performance and runtime. Cell-cooling technology is provided by wrapping each battery cell in thermoplastic to dissipate heat for longer runtime and provide 360o protection against vibration and impact. The cordless paint sprayer provides convenient control of paint flow and application rate to help ensure an even coating and minimize over-spraying. Paint flow is set by turning the knob on the back of the trigger clockwise to increase the volume, or counter-clockwise to decrease it. Application rate is adjusted by turning the air pressure control on top of the sprayer from 1 to 10. Maximum air pressure is 22 kPa (3.19 PSI).
A spray width lever on the top-front of the tool can be easily adjusted to tackle a wide range of projects. Generally, wide patterns are intended for spraying large surfaces and narrower patterns are preferred for smaller areas, corners and edges.
Four nozzle sizes are provided for spraying different materials, including interior/exterior stains, interior/exterior clears, primers, enamels and interior/exterior latex paint. Nozzles can be positioned on the sprayer horizontally for an up-and-down spraying motion or vertically for side-to-side spraying.
Weighing 3.7 lbs. (with battery), the handy paint sprayer is equipped with a large-capacity, 34 fl. oz. paint container to minimize downtime for refills. Cleanups of water soluble materials are fast and easy with an included garden hose hook-up. All accessories can be quickly detached for cleaning and color changes.
