WWMM to be celebrated this October

Woodworking Manufacturing Month 2022’s mission, which will take place in October, is to highlight the goods, services, and technological advancements of the woodworking business while spotlighting vitality of the sector. IWF is in charge of creating and executing the campaign. It aims to raise public awareness of the sector as a source of creative solutions for consumers and a place to find employment. WMIA and WMMA established Woodworking Manufacturing Month for the benefit of their members and the overall wood products sector. In connection with Manufacturing Day, October is designated as WWMM.

All you need to know about WWMM 2022

To participate in Woodworking Manufacturing Month 2022, one simply has to launch a marketing campaign for the newest items using materials and tools that are ready to use, organize an open house, set up product demonstrations, and create other unique opportunities to highlight your company and brand. Regional marketing initiatives will also be featured prominently in a national digital marketing campaign created by IWF with the slogan “Woodworking Manufacturing: Innovation at work.”
Few ways listed by the organizers for taking part are:

• Run a special campaign to draw attention to a new good or service.
• Invite clients or potential clients on a physical or virtual factory tour.
• Invite kids from the local high school or technical college to visit your plant to promote manufacturing jobs.
• In a series of brief videos, share on social media how your company’s employees innovate in their regular work.
• Post a video of a product presentation for one of your most recent offerings on your website and social media.
• Send a series of e-blasts to clients and potential clients about advancements from your business that will simplify their work.
