IKEA U.S. is excited to unveil its first-ever pop-up showroom at Fulton Market Design Days 2025, set to take place from June 9-11 in Chicago. This marks an important step for IKEA as they showcase their commercial-grade furniture solutions, designed to meet the needs of businesses large and small. Following the Design Days event, the showroom, located at 1052 W Fulton Market, will be open to the public by appointment only from June 12-29.
The pop-up showroom will spotlight the innovative MITTZON series, which features modular furniture ideal for business environments. Additionally, the iconic STOCKHOLM collection will be on display in celebration of its 40th anniversary. These collections are designed to offer scalable, stylish solutions that cater to businesses looking for high-quality yet affordable furnishings.
IKEA aims to position itself as a leader in the commercial-grade furniture market, providing functional, affordable designs that meet the evolving needs of businesses. “Our goal is to drive awareness within this audience and industry that IKEA provides affordable and quality design solutions,” said Abbey Stark, U.S. Home Furnishing Direction Leader. “We’re looking to disrupt the market with our iconic designs and expand our footprint in the business furniture sector.”
With the growing demand for office furniture as businesses transition back to in-person work, IKEA is set to offer designers and business owners high-quality options at competitive price points. The company’s presence at Fulton Market Design Days represents an exciting opportunity to share their brand story and highlight their new range of commercial-grade products.
“It has been a long-time vision for IKEA to play a bigger part in the design industry,” Stark added. “We’re thrilled to be embraced by Fulton Market Design Days as newcomers and to inspire with our affordable, high-quality furniture solutions.”
